  Drill chuck is made up of a drill chuck, an elastic toggle ring, a connecting block, and a back cover. The drill chuck is mainly used for DC and AC electric drills for home use. Its biggest advantage is that it is easy to lock, as long as you hold the front and rear sleeves of the collet and tighten them to use. Depending on the internal structure of the drill chuck, it is suitable for different drills.

 

 The three main parameters of a drill chuck are accuracy, clamping force and clamping range. Accuracy is used to control the amount of runout of the clamping shank tool to ensure the accuracy of the processed hole. Clamping force is to ensure that the clamped shank tool does not slip, preventing the shank tool from slipping and preventing it from working. Generally speaking, the accuracy of the collet used on the bench drill is higher, while the accuracy of the collet used on the hand drill is relatively lower. The clamping range is used to control the minimum and maximum diameters of the tool to be clamped by the collet in order to meet the work requirements. Under normal circumstances, the maximum clamping range is only about 0.3mm larger than the specifications of the collet. If it is too large, it will be a big waste of material and increase the production cost of the collet. The minimum clamping range can theoretically be very small, but too small will make the manufacturer's scrap rate rise, increasing costs.
