Introduction about hsk tool holder:
HSK tool holder is a new type of high-speed short taper shank, its interface adopts the taper and end face positioning at the same time, the shank is hollow, the taper length is short, taper is 1/10, which is conducive to the realization of the tool change lightweight and high-speed. As shown in Figure 1. Due to the use of hollow cone and end face positioning, compensating for the difference in radial deformation between the spindle hole and the toolholder during high-speed machining, and completely eliminating the axial positioning error, so that high-speed, high-precision machining is possible. This type of toolholder is becoming more and more common in the application of high-speed machining centres.
